The 2 go together like peanut butter & jelly.
I think part of this reason is because that word “niche” can feel very limiting.
On one hand, you’re being told that you shouldn’t go too wide because then you’re lost in a sea of noise.
On the other hand, niching down feels like you’re potentially missing out.
Well friend, I believe there’s a 3rd option. One that’s in between where you can go wide with your audience but simultaneously be very specific in your positioning.
I call this concept your “Signature Promise”. It’s the trifecta of being able to verbally & visually articulate:
- Who You Are
- How You Can Help, and
- How You’re Different Than Your Peers.
