The Opportunity
Laser Skin & Surgery Center of New York is deeply rooted in clinical dermatologic research and is one of the largest dermatology and plastic surgery centers in New York City, spanning over 30,000 square feet in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Many of the aesthetic technologies and devices patients inquire about today underwent on-site clinical trials at Laser Skin & Surgery Center before being submitted for FDA approval—and are now used by medical spas, dermatology practices, and plastic surgery centers across the United States.
From this foundation, Navaderm engaged us to help visually articulate the Center’s identity as a research-driven institution through a comprehensive, full-day photo and video shoot.
The Strategy
The success of this project began well before the cameras rolled. We developed a detailed production plan outlining a precise asset list, structured shoot schedule, and a series of strategic interview questions designed to capture the practice’s role in ongoing dermatologic research and innovation.
With more than a dozen physicians participating, meticulous planning was essential—and it paid off. The depth and breadth of photo and video content produced in a single day reflected this preparation, culminating in a flagship About the Practice video that clearly communicates the brand’s authority, scale, and research-forward identity.
